Positive Material Identification (PMI)
PMI is an integral process in our Quality Management System, as it is essential that a given alloy conforms to the correct design specification. By maintaining a strong PMI program, it is possible to virtually eliminate these failures and ensures that each incoming delivery is the correct material grade prior to investing a large amount of production time and ensures conformity prior to shipment to our customers.
NORSOK Accreditation
All this complements our recent NORSOK accreditation and approval to produce UNS 32760 Super Duplex strain hardened bars for fasteners to MDS D59/D59L Rev 3. NORSOK standards are developed by the Norwegian petroleum industry to ensure adequate safety, value adding and cost effectiveness for petroleum industry developments and operations.
