THE WORLD'S LARGEST 1.4003 STOCKHOLDER & SERVICE CENTRE
STAINLESS SHEET, COIL & PLATE
Offshore Stainless Supplies is the World’s largest stockholder of 1.4003 stainless steel sheet and plate from 1mm up to 30mm in thickness.
1.4003 is a weldable ferritic utility stainless steel that provides the benefits of traditional stainless steel such as strength, corrosion, abrasion resistance, durability, and low maintenance. It also provides additional benefits such as good weldability and formability making it capable of fabrication by conventional techniques.
1.4003 does not depend upon expensive alloying elements like Nickel and Molybdenum and therefore has a low-cost advantage compared to other corrosion-resisting materials. It is proven to offer lower life cycle costs than traditional materials where corrosion and abrasion affect service conditions.
1.4003 is included in the specifications EN 10088-2, EN 10028-7 and ASM A240 UNS S214003
Offshore Stainless Supplies has an in-house purpose-built cut-to-length line capable of processing coils into industry standard lengths as well as providing our customers with bespoke-sized Sheet up to ten metres in length to best suit their production and processing capabilities.
1.4003 Stainless Steel is a utility ferritic Stainless Steel, often used in place of mild Steel. It offers the benefits of more highly alloyed stainless steels such as strength, corrosion and abrasion resistance, durability, and low maintenance.
In addition, type 1.4003 is weldable and formable allowing it to be fabricated using conventional techniques.
