REACH Policy
Statement
Offshore Stainless Supplies are committed to ensuring that all products, materials and articles supplied by the company are fully compliant with the requirements of the European Union’s Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.

The REACH Regulation requires suppliers of articles containing substances classified as SVHC to inform recipients if any SVHC is present in the article at a concentration greater than 0.1% by weight. These requirements ensure transparency and promote the use of safer chemicals, minimising risks to human health and the environment.

Under REACH Article 33, Offshore Stainless Supplies acknowledges our responsibility to:
• Notify recipients if any article we supply contains SVHC in concentrations exceeding 0.1% by weight.
• Provide sufficient information to allow safe use of the article, including the name of the SVHC.

Offshore Stainless Supplies hereby declares that, to the best of our knowledge and due diligence, none of the products, materials or articles we supply contain any Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in concentrations exceeding 0.1% by weight. This includes:
• All primary materials used in the manufacture of our products, including stainless steel and related alloys.
• All packaging and shipping materials used to deliver our articles to customers.

We understand that the list of SVHC is updated regularly by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). To maintain compliance, Offshore Stainless Supplies commits to regularly reviewing updates to the SVHC Candidate List as issued by the ECHA, and monitoring materials and suppliers to ensure continued compliance with the evolving REACH regulations.

In the unlikely event that an SVHC is detected in any article supplied by Offshore Stainless Supplies in excess of 0.1% by weight, we will immediately notify all affected customers, in accordance with Article 33 of the REACH Regulation, and provide relevant information to ensure the safe use of the article, including details on the identified SVHC.

Offshore Stainless Supplies remains fully dedicated to compliance with REACH regulations and the safety of our products and we will continue to uphold our high standards of product safety, environmental responsibility and regulatory compliance in all aspects of our operations.
